The History

The Adios Lounge explores the hidden nooks and crannies of rock ‘n’ roll history, both in written form and in conversation with its principals. I like to think I embody the spirit of Neil Young’s infamous ditch, where the most interesting people and best music is created. I began this site way back in April 2008 and since then I’ve addressed many of my favorite acts: Thelonious Monster (for whom the blog is named), A Giant Dog, The Blasters, Superchunk, Grand Champeen, Sam Cooke, Glossary, Clarence White, Uncle Tupelo, Prescott Curlywolf, Doug Sahm, and Mike Nicolai.

But hey, enough of my yakkin’. Whaddaya say? Let’s boogie!
